Zuca Pro Review – What do we want to know?

July 6, 2011

If like us, you’re looking for the world’s best travel bag, you’ve probably already come across the legendary Zuca Pro. Many people who own the Zuca Pro have said it’s in a world of it’s own and worth every cent of the $300 price tag.

Zuca Pro

It certainly looks like it is a truly amazing bag, but we’ve got a number of things that we’re looking forward to covering off in detail when we review the Zuca Pro  just to address any niggling questions you might have had when reading other reviews online.

Here are some of the questions we will be answering:

  • We’ve heard a lot about the Zuca Pro being used for make up artists, but good is the Zuca Pro the best choice of overnight bag for business trips?
  • How well does the Zuca Pro work with suits? We’ll be showing before and after photos of a suit following 6 hours of travelling in the Zuca Pro.
  • What is the most efficient way to use all the pouches and side pockets for business trips? We’ll be publishing a photo guide of what we use each pocket for when on business trips using the Zuca Pro.
  • Does the Zuca Pro definitely comply with EU restrictions on hand-luggage for flights? We’ll be showing a photo of the Zuca Pro in an airlines “does it fit” test boxes within an airport.
  • What size laptop can you get in the side pocket of the Zuca Pro?
  • We’ve heard that the Zuca Pro can fishtail slightly on even terrain or bumping up or down kerbs, how much of an issue is this? We’ll be showing this on a video and hopefully demonstrating that this is a minor issue.
  • How smooth a ride is the Zuca Pro compared to standard cases?
  • Is the toiletries pouch large enough to get everything in? We will show exactly how much we’ve been able to get into the toiletries pouch of the Zuca Pro.
  • Just how comfortable is the Zuca Pro as a seat!!?!!

Are there any other questions you’d like us to answer when we review the Zuca Pro? Please leave your questions in the comments below and we’ll make sure we answer them when post up our review in the coming days.

What’s the main differences between the Zuca pro and Zuca sport? I found this post when searching for ‘Zuca pro review’ but it doesn’t seem like a proper review. Can you add it up soon and explain difference in terms of size and durability of Pro vs Sport? Thanks.

Does the Zuca Pro come with a protective cover? Have seen some pics of it with a travel cover on it but not sure if this is purchased separately?

Would like to find out more about the guarantee – is it life time or 1 year? Have read different things on different websites

I have been looking into this luggage myself and can answer a few questions.

@James C. You can not find this being sold for less then $270. Sorry, but from all I have read in other reviews is about the same as a comparable sized bag.

@Karl Red, The sport version is meant for people hauling sports equipment, roller blades, ice skates, protective gear for soccer, etc. because of it being completely open. The pro is made for travelling with its storage pouches and size that conforms to FAA carry-on guidelines.

@Sally Prentice, Yes, it is an included accessory, as well as the pouches.

@tincanman01, The Pro carries a lifetime warranty. The sport carries a 1 year warranty.
